Valencianos is more than a sequence of pitches. Approach, preparation, belays, changeovers, possible waits and descent form a complete day, so maintaining attention and a steady pace matters as much as completing individual climbing moves.

Energy needs to remain for the final stages, not only the opening pitches. Water, food, suitable layers and mentioning tiredness early all belong in the preparation. One previous short outing does not by itself show that a long, exposed wall is suitable.

Before confirmation, climbing experience, multi-pitch days, endurance and response at exposed stances are reviewed. Rather than reaching one particular grade, participants need to climb consistently and follow instructions across the complete itinerary.

Where specific experience is missing, an introductory route or single-pitch sport day may provide more useful reference points. That progression helps reveal someone’s response to height and fatigue before taking on the commitment of Valencianos.

Current park access and regulations are checked before confirmation, without assuming a previous visit guarantees entry on the requested date. The final proposal depends on that review alongside conditions and rope-team profile.
